How do I know if my chimney needs repair?
White staining, flaking brick faces, rust streaks on a chase, damp smells after rain, or bits of mortar on the roof are all early flags. The definitive answer is an inspection with photos — schedule one and you'll know exactly where things stand.
What does chimney repair cost?
It ranges widely — a cap is a quick fix, a full reline is a bigger project — so we quote per job after seeing it. Every quote is scoped and photo-backed, and financing through Wells Fargo is available on larger repairs.
Do you rebuild chimneys?
Full teardown-and-rebuild masonry is outside our scope. If a chimney is too far gone for repair, we'll say so honestly and walk you through alternatives — often a reline or an insert with a new liner solves the problem for less than a rebuild.
When's the best time for chimney repair?
Before freeze-up. Masonry work wants above-freezing temperatures to cure right, and every winter a problem waits, frost makes it bigger. Late spring through fall is the window.
